I needed to rent some equipment from my friend Stacy for a shoot, so to accustom myself to her stuff we took the practice time to go location hunting in downtown Salt Lake. It was so fun to find new doorways and cool streets for future shoots. Who would've thought an old cement factory would be so cool!
Channa has beautiful eyes and if you get close enough you can see that one is more blue than the other. Fun! She is such an easy going bride. What a relief when thinking of the craziness of the wedding day! It was so nice to spend some time getting to know her and her mom and sister. It was soooo hot the day we chose to shoot. Even though it was seven at night the temperatures were well above 100 degrees farenheit...atleast that's what my car said. The only thing Channa ever asked for was water...and well, some homemade rolls from the Lionhouse Bakery. Yum!!!
A couple of months ago I went to my friend Russ's wedding. I wasn't planning on shooting there, but I took my Canon E600 which is just a digital point and shoot. It takes great pictures and here are a couple of my favorites.
I've totally been MIA lately and that's because I just finished working EFY or Especially for Youth. I loved it! I miss it! It changed me! I am posting a couple of my "creative" shots on here from registration, some of me and my co-counselor Bryan that my "kids" took of us, and let's not forget dancing with Brooke and Emily in front of EVERYONE! Oh!---to be seventeen again!

It's "troo wuv" at it's finest. Daren and Alison are so adorable together. I love seeing couples like these two where their love just emanates from them! When we arrived to shoot, Alison had the special assignment to investigate the candy options at Sweet Afton's. Their planning on getting some fun suckers as wedding favors. Cute! She said they HAD to get lollipops! I'm so glad they bought them---I love what we were able to capture of them enjoying their yummy sugar sticks!!! Yay for sugar!
