CHALKBOARD ART||Bun in the Oven

This was on the invitation for a baby shower one of my friends threw for me and Baby N!

I copied the idea and created this chalkboard art.

Then thanks to an awesome tutorial, found HERE and a free chalkboard digi graphic found HERE by Hannah at We Lived Happily Ever After I turned it into a chalkboard printable.

These are some other boards I've done for weddings.
I'm up for hire!

CHALKBOARD ART||printables

A couple of weeks ago I was searching for a quote that I felt fit me and fit my home to write on the back of an old art piece.  It'd been sitting above my mantle as a blank canvas for months waiting for just the right inspiration.  I was going to cover it with burlap and then spray paint stenciled letters, but since I'm prego I didn't want to use spray paint. I started searching pinterest and found this!!!

I fell in love with it!
But I decided to add my own twist to it and use the word Charity instead of the word Love.
It has so much more depth to me.

Charity: The highest, noblest, strongest kind of love, not merely affection; the pure love of Christ. It is never used to denote alms or deeds of benevolence, although it may be a prompting motive

1 Corinthians 13:4-8
Charity suffereth long,
and is kind
charity envieth not;
charity vaunteth not itself,
is not puffed up,
Doth not behave itself unseemly
seeketh not her own,
is not easily provoked
thinketh no evil;
Rejoiceth not in iniquity
but rejoiceth in the truth;
Beareth all things,
believeth all things,
hopeth all things,
endureth all things.
Charity never faileth:

Moroni 7:46-48

(this is where the greater depth comes in...)

46 Wherefore, my beloved brethren,
if ye have not charity,
ye are nothing, for charity never faileth.
Wherefore, cleave unto charity,
which is the greatest of all,
for all things must fail—
47 But charity is the pure love of Christ
and it endureth forever;
and whoso is found possessed of it at the last day,
it shall be well with him.

So how do we get this Charity???

48 Wherefore, my beloved brethren,
pray unto the Father with all the energy of heart
that ye may be filled with this love,
which he hath bestowed
upon all who are true followers of his Son, Jesus Christ;
that ye may become the sons of God;
that when he shall appear we shall be like him,
for we shall see him as he is;
that we may have this hope;
that we may be purified even as he is pure.
Amen.

This is what I did!
